Recently, Teresa Chen, CEO of HTDK, was invited to participate in the “5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) Medical Device Professional Committee’s Open Innovation Seminar,” hosted by the China International Import Expo Bureau and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

During the seminar, Chen stated: “The CIIE Innovation Incubation Zone provides a one-stop resource connection for world-class medical technology innovations and has become a vital platform for international medical innovation. HTDK’s debut in the medical exhibition area was a great success. In the future, we will fully leverage our unique expertise in the commercialization of high-value medical devices in China and work with industry partners to introduce more cutting-edge technologies and innovations to the Chinese market, enhancing the accessibility of global innovative medical devices in China.”

Other guests at the seminar included Liu Fuxue, Deputy Director of the China International Import Expo Bureau; Wang Lanming, Director of the Medical Device Registration Division at the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA); Guo Shuting, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Medical Products Administration; and representatives from multinational medical device companies such as BD, Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson, Siemens Healthineers, GE Healthcare, and United Imaging. The participants shared their experiences and outcomes from the CIIE Medical Innovation Incubation Zone and engaged in in-depth discussions on China’s medical device innovation models.
